Nathan Reimer
Intern
Nathan Reimer
Greetings,
My name is Nathan Reimer. I am originally from Saskatchewan Canada but moved to Ontario Canada upon finishing my undergraduate degree in Eastern Orthodox Theology (B.Th) in Upstate NY USA.
I am now completing an M.Div degree, specialising in psychotherapy at Tyndale University in Toronto, Ont. Canada, and now an intern at Treasure In You Counselling to successfully graduate. I have had a love, and passion to grow and delve deeper into the field of psychotherapy, and to be there for those who are struggling with many mental health challenges. Throughout nearly eight years of study in total, I have harnessed a great love to learn the skills of empathy, and desire to be there for those who need it the most. I hope to help individuals who are struggling with depression, life changes, and anxiety. Using modalities such as CBT, and Psychoanalytic theory, I strive to give you, the client, the tools to come to an understanding of what is ailing you and move towards mutually healthy, holistic goals to overcome such obstacles. One does not need to struggle alone, and I hope I can facilitate a safe, warm, and healthy environment to begin that conversation of moving towards real, positive change for the better.
